Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Holiday Cheer At disneyland
If there’s one place where magic truly comes to life, it’s Disneyland, and this past week was nothing short of enchanting. We were honored to be invited for a special media day to experience the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, as well as to join other creators in celebrating the holidays at both Disneyland and California Adventure. From princess magic to holiday treats, it was a couple days our family will never forget!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
There's a new ride at Disneyland! Replacing the old Splash Mountain ride & inspired by Disney’s The Princess and the Frog, Tiana's Bayou Adventure beautifully captures the spirit, music, and magic of Tiana’s world while honoring the culture of New Orleans.
The details in this ride are incredible—from the vibrant bayou scenes to the jazzy soundtrack that had us all singing along. Kai & Kaleb were completely immersed in Tiana’s story and the ride itself. So much that they wanted to keep riding it, so we had to go on it twice!
Pro tip: Make sure to snap a family photo near the ride's entrance. The backdrop is as magical as the ride itself! And don't forget your poncho!
The Holidays Begin at Disneyland
The holiday season at Disneyland is always a feast for the senses, and this year is no exception. The park is transformed into a winter wonderland, with twinkling lights, festive décor, and holiday music filling the air. We couldn’t help but feel the holiday spirit as we strolled down Main Street, U.S.A. and marveling at the iconic Disneyland Christmas tree.
My kids couldn’t get enough of the festive touches, and I loved seeing their faces light up with excitement at every turn. This was the first trip that the boys were tall enough to ride ALL the rides, and they definitely took advantage!
I'm sure this trip will live in their core memories!
Festival of Holidays: Sip and Savor at California Adventure
Over at Disney California Adventure, the Festival of Holidays brought an entirely new level of celebration. This multicultural festival is a true feast for the senses, showcasing holiday traditions and flavors from around the world. As part of our media day, we got to experience the Sip and Savor Pass, which allowed us to sample dishes and drinks from the festival’s diverse booths.
From spicy tamales verdes and a delicious Cafe de Olla Cold Brew at the ¡Viva Navidad! booth to holiday sliders and cookies, every bite was delicious and brought the season’s warmth to life. We also enjoyed live performances that celebrated cultural traditions through music and dance, which was such a meaningful way to share the beauty of diversity with the kids.

Isabel’s Garden Movie Premiere in Santa Monica
This week, I had the honor of attending the premiere of Isabel’s Garden, and let me tell you—it was a night filled with inspiration, pride, and all the feels. From the moment I stepped onto the red carpet, it was clear that this wasn’t just a movie; it was a celebration of family and the importance of resilience.
One of the highlights? Getting the chance to work a red carpet for the first time and interview the incredible cast of this movie. Hearing them share their passion for the project and the deeper meaning behind their roles was so powerful. They opened up about how Isabel’s Garden connects to their own lives, and you could feel the love they poured into bringing this story to life.
This movie is one of those rare stories that feels like it’s speaking directly to your heart. It’s about the strength of family, the joy of finding beauty in unexpected places, and the importance of holding onto who we are. There were laughs, and plenty of tears throughout the whole movie!
Thank you to the team behind Isabel’s Garden for inviting me to be part of such a meaningful event. I can’t wait for everyone to see this beautiful film and feel the magic for themselves.
You can now stream this movie on Amazon Prime & Apple TV.
Mighty Monster Wheelies Premiere at dreamworks
This past weekend, Kaleb & I had the amazing opportunity to attend the premiere of Mighty Monster Wheelies on the iconic DreamWorks lot in Los Angeles, and it was a day full of fun, laughter, and family-friendly excitement!
As soon as we arrived, the energy was contagious. The DreamWorks campus was transformed into a monster truck lover’s dream, with activities for the kids, themed snacks, and of course, a sneak peek at the new show. Kaleb couldn’t get enough!
If you’re looking for your family’s next favorite show, Mighty Monster Wheels is one to add to your list. A big thank you to DreamWorks for inviting us to be part of such a special day!
